LEVI DOUTY

Manufacturing Engineer | Advanced AutomationRecent graduate from UW-Stout with a B.S. in Manufacturing Engineering and 6 years of hands-on internship experience. I specialize in automation, robotics, vision systems, and process improvement—with a passion for building efficient, intelligent manufacturing systems.

Skills Snapshot

I have a strong foundation in manufacturing processes, CNC/PLC programming, CAD/CAM, and tooling design, developed through my education at UW–Stout and hands-on engineering internships. I'm experienced in Lean Manufacturing, process improvement, and project management, with practical application in both medical and food-grade environments. My work in industrial automation includes robotics, collaborative systems, end-of-arm tooling, and palletizing solutions, supported by core robotics training. I also bring strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills from diverse team-based roles.

Professional Experience

With over six years of engineering internship and project experience in automation, robotics integration, and industrial process optimization, I’ve contributed to everything from wastewater operations to vision system quality control. My background includes hands-on skills in manufacturing processes, CNC/PLC programming, CAD/CAM, and tooling design, developed through my education at UW–Stout and real-world applications. I’m also experienced in Lean Manufacturing, process improvement, and project management. In automation, I’ve worked on systems involving collaborative robotics, end-of-arm tooling, and palletizing, backed by core robotics training. Strong communication, leadership, and analytical thinking round out my skill set, with experience across both technical and team-focused roles.

Personal Intrests

Outside of work, I enjoy hands-on projects and spending time outdoors. Hunting, fishing, and camping are a big part of my life, and I’m always looking for ways to combine those interests with practical skills and technology. Whether it’s optimizing gear or learning new tools.
